CORPUS CHRISTI – October 14, 2014)Lockwood, Andrews & Newnam, Inc. (LAN) hires Steve Synovitz, P.E. as senior project manager for its Corpus Christi office.

His multi-disciplined background and expertise is critical for the variety of projects we are seeing in the region.”
Synovitz will be responsible for the pursuit, design, execution and quality control of projects across the region. He has 30 years of management, design and field experience in water distribution system, sanitary sewer facility, street improvement, storm drain and retaining wall projects, as well as hydrology studies and hydraulic analyses. He recently assisted the New Orleans District of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers with program and project management of the multi-year, multi-billion dollar Hurricane Storm Damage Risk Reduction System (HSDRRS) project.
Synovitz holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Illinois and is completing his certification as a River Restoration Professional.
