DENVER, June 11, 2014 – CH2M HILL (www.ch2mhill.com) is proud to announce that Bruce Manning, a fellow technologist in the firm’s Missouri office, was recognized with the American Water Works Association’s prestigious Fuller Award. Bruce will be presented his award and inducted into the Fuller Society during the AWWA Annual Conference and Exposition held in Boston, Mass., June 8-12.
The Fuller Award is given annually to individuals, selected throughout their respective geographies, for their distinguished service to the water supply field in commemoration for sound engineering skill, brilliant diplomatic talent, and constructive leadership. The Fuller Award is the highest honor bestowed on water professionals by AWWA. Bruce was recognized by the Missouri Section.
During his 36-year career, Bruce Manning, CH2M HILL Fellow Water Treatment Technologist, has provided extensive leadership and industry knowledge to advance the water treatment profession. Bruce is a member of the Missouri and National AWWA Source Water Protection Committees and has served as past-Chair of the Missouri Section of AWWA. Additionally, he has been a committee member of the Standard Methods for Examination of Water and Wastewater Review Board since 1986, sits on the Safe Drinking Water Commission for the State of Missouri, and participates on the NSF Drinking Water Additives Standards 60 and 61 Review Board. He was recognized in 2010 and 2013 with AWWA’s Dr. Warren Kramer Award for the best technical paper focusing on water treatment. Bruce received his B.S. in Environmental Science from Northwest Missouri State University.
