ST. LOUIS – June 26, 2014 – Stephen Smith has joinedAclara Technologies LLC as the General Manager of its Consumer Engagement (CE) business unit, located in Wellesley, Massachusetts. Aclara is a leading provider of intelligent infrastructure, software and services for electric, gas and water utilities.
Mr. Smith comes to Aclara with extensive experience in energy, demand response, smart grid and water efficiency programs for investor owned and municipal utilities. He previously worked as the Vice President of Sales for EcoFactor, a cloud-based analytics platform serving the residential energy management marketplace. Prior to EcoFactor, Mr. Smith spent 20 years at Honeywell Utility Solutions in a variety of leadership roles.
As the General Manager of Aclara’s CE business unit, Mr. Smith will provide strategic leadership and management of software solutions and professional services for consumer engagement, demand side management and smart grid programs.

Mr. Smith earned a master’s degree in business from Northeastern University, and a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of New Hampshire.
